- The Philippines, in order to enhance the safety and inspection of imported food, has started work on the construction of the first Agricultural Commodity Examination Area (ACEA), also known as the Cold Examination Facility in Agriculture (CEFA). This is to help 100% inspection of imported agricultural products, fish and meat to ensure their quality, identify and confiscate misdeclared shipments and prevent the entry of cross-border pests and diseases, including ASF.
